Technical WorkshopsTechnical workshops are booked via academic staff as part of the modular teaching programme. Booking forms for the main instruction rooms are posted weekly on the noticeboard. The day is divided into three slots: morning, afternoon and evening. During the day the main studios will be mostly block-booked with taught classes, when no access is allowed. Otherwise you can write your name on the booking form in the slot that corresponds to the computer you require.
A software list for each computer is displayed near the booking forms. Each computer has an individual name, ACE-0F16-R11 (Red Room), ACE-0F15-B1 (Blue Room), etc. Open access is allowed in the main instruction rooms over lunch-time and in the evenings, except Friday evening. Descriptors for technical workshops can be accesses online on the Workshops pages |
