Using the EPI Centre Network
Each computer can connect to any other in the RED, GREEN, BLUE, YELLOW, MAGENTA and CYAN rooms by using the Ethernet network. In this way work can be moved between computers if your chosen Mac is unavailable.
Each computer has a shared folder which may be accessed from any other Mac
All machines in the EPI Centre, have a folder called ace where all work should be saved, and is the folder to which you connect on the network.
To discover the steps to connect to another machine, please download and view the pdf below.

Always keep your current work on the machine you are using. Running a file over the network is dangerous as it slows down the other remote machine and if someone else is using that machine they may switch it off, thinking it is not working properly, leaving you with no connection, and the possible loss of your work. If you are copying large files from one machine to another, it is thus politic to inform the person on the other machine of your intentions!
